Tranquil Spaces founder Shannon Del Vecchio began her design career as a feng shui expert specializing in creating healthy home and office environments. Gradually the scope of her expertise has expanded to include a full suite of interior design services with a special focus on non-toxic and eco-friendly products and materials.
In May of 2007, one of Shannon.s residential projects was featured on the Green Home Tour of Marin County, where it won the "Best Renovation" award as well as the "People's Choice" award. In collaboration with E.A. Bonelli and Associates Architects and Engineers, Shannon recently completed a large commercial project that is on target to receive a LEED-CI rating of "Platinum" in 2008.
Current projects include a new yoga studio South of Market and a full interior / exterior renovation of a 6-unit residential building in Pacific Heights. In and among these larger projects, Shannon continues to practice as a feng shui expert, consulting on all manner of different buildings throughout the Bay Area. She delights in working on such a wide variety of project types, and brings the same focus and sensitivity to every client meeting, whether it is a 2-hour consultation or a long-term partnership.
